Fujairah: Asian worker dies after being run over in Dibba

An Asian worker died yesterday evening after bring run over in an accident in the city of Dibba Al Fujairah.

Brigadier Mohamed Rashid Bin Nayea Al Taniji, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, stated that the operations room received a report yesterday that an Asian worker was injured in a run-over in a city street.

As soon as the report was received, The worker’s body was transferred to the Dibba Al Fujairah Hospital, in preparation for completion of legal proceedings and handing over to the family.

Al Taniji also stated that the police authorities arrested the driver of the vehicle, an Emirati without a driver’s license.
