Sharjah: 9-year-old boy dies after being run over by a car

A nine-year-old African boy died after being run over by a speeding car on Al Khan Road. The driver of the car has been arrested.

Police received a call reporting the accident at 11:00 AM this morning. Police patrols, traffic police and an ambulance were immediately sent to the site.

The boy was found dead on spot, due to severe injuries to his skull and chest, his body was then transferred by an ambulance to Al Qasimi Hospital. The driver was held and taken into police custody.
