Sharjah: Passenger accuses airport employee of stealing while searching her

The Sharjah Criminal Court has adjourned a case in which an employee working at an airport in the country was charged with stealing $1,300 from a traveling suitcase while it was being searched back in April 30.
The case details date back to November 13 last year, at 8:30 AM, when a passenger was heading to her country, after inspecting her bag, she found that she had lost $ 1,300. She accused the employee, who searched her bag, and reported to the police stating that she had stolen from her.
The defendant’s attorney, Salem Obaid bin Sahouh. pleaded before the court and confirmed that his client denies theft, and contradicted the statements of the complainant before the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the court, pointing out that the money exchange was on the second day at a cashier at the airport, not the day the complainant lost the money.
