Abu Dhabi: One dead, and eight injured in a four-vehicle collision

Al Bayan reported that Abu Dhabi police discovered that the driver had swerved into the left lane and crashed into the highway barrier. This was after the driver was distracted from the road, it also turned out that he didn’t leave enough distance between his vehicle and the vehicles in front of him.

The injured persons were transferred to Mafraq hospital. The head of the Department of Investigation of Serious Accidents of Abu Dhabi Police, Dr Muslim Mohammed Al Junaibi, urged all users of the road to abide by traffic laws to avoid getting into serious accidents.
