A 46-year-old GCC man lured a 26-year-old Asian woman and brought her to his house to assault her. The woman tried to stop him, but surrendered to him after she realized he had detained her.
The victim testified before the Dubai Public Prosecution, which referred the case to trial, that she left her job and her residency visa was cancelled.
She was introduced to the defendant by her friend, the defendant claimed to own a large company in one of the most famous towers in Dubai and promised to provide her a job, he then took her to her house in Ras Al-Khaimah to get her clothes in order to stay in the employees’ housing he will provide.
He then asked her to wait for the employees to finish their duty at his home, she believed him and went with him only to discover his intentions were to detain and assault her.
