Abu Dhabi: Young girl faces an unknown fate after trusting her uncle

The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court has siezed an Arab girl with 863 tablets of narcotic substances from outside the country, scheduled for a hearing on 30th of this month.

Details of the case reveal that the girl went to visit her family in her hometown. After her visit, she began packing her bags for the return. At that time, her uncle gave her a package and asked her to hand it over to a person who would contact her when she arrived the country.

When she arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport, the customs officer asked to search her bags. Where he found a bag containing 863 narcotic tablets, including 762 tramadol tablets and 101 of another type.

The girl denire the charges and claimed that she did not know what was inside the bag, she also expressed her saddness because her uncle left her facing an unknown fate.
