Dubai: 4 people deceive a minor with a job offer and force her into prostitution

Four Asians distributed roles among themselves after forming a gang with the help of other fugitives. Tricking a girl from their homeland and convincing her that they would provide her with a job as a dancer in a Dubai nightclub. The gang brought the girl to the country, and when she arrived they forced her to do prostitution for money.

According to the Dubai Public Prosecution’s investigation, the victim, is a minor under the age of 18. She received a call from the first defendant promising her a job as a dancer in a Dubai nightclub. The second defendant visited her home with her mother’s husband, who changed her age after she was examined by the second defendant and was found suitable for the job.

After receiving her at the airport, they took her to one of the apartments equipped for this purpose. They told her that she would work in prostitution, but she refused for about twenty days. The fourth accused then persuaded her to respond to their request. Otherwise, she would have to pay the sum of 18,000 dirhams for travel costs, she therefore gave in to them in the end.

She was arrested along with several members of the gang after two undercover policemen entered the apartment, pretending to be customers.
