Emirati dies in Sharjah crash

A 28-year-old Emirati man died in a traffic accident with a truck on Al Dhaid-Sharjah road after his car trapped under the truck.

Sharjah police alerted about the accident and police patrols and an ambulance went to the scene as the Emirati driver trapped under the truck.

The driver died because of serious injuries and was transferred to Al Dhaid hospital to issue a death report.

Sharjah Al Dhaid road witnessed many accidents as a 68-year-old Emirati died in another accident and in a separate accident, a young Emirati died in a traffic accident between two vehicles.

Meanwhile, Sharjah police launched 13 strategic and traffic initiatives to cut number accidents on highways and implement safety measures on five key roads including Sharjah- Al Dhaid road.
