In a record time, Dubai Police arrested the criminal who deliberately started the fire in Dubai Outlet Mall parking lot on the Dubai-Al Ain road which led to the burning of 11 cars before he fled the country.
In detail, investigations indicated that the fire that broke out yesterday in the vehicles was set up deliberately, and that there is criminal suspicion in the incident, especially that the car that caught fire was in a safe place and there was no flammable materials around.
The team then searched for the crime and managed to catch the criminal within a record time.The team was able to identify the suspect and his place of residence where he was preparing to escape the country and was found to have been burned while starting the fire.
It was found that the accused works as a driver of a public transport vehicle and transfers the shopping center workers. After a dispute with one of the drivers of the same nationality, he burned his vehicle as revenge, and the accused was referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal proceedings.
