Dubai: Asian man strangles, kills prostitute over 150 Dhs

A 32-year-old Asian man, who works as an ironsmith, did not know that he will end up behind bars, charged with murder against an African woman, after searching for a prostitute.

The Dubai Criminal Court charged the accused yesterday with murder by strangling, sentenced to the death penalty if found guilty. The case papers stated that the crime took place last February when the defendant came from Al Ain to Dubai in search of prostitute, he called the victim, whom he already already met and spent time with,  and agreed  to give her 300 dirhams.

At the end of the night, he only gave her 150 Dhs. However, later after he got out of the toilet, he found that she took another 150 Dhs from his wallet. He then followed her to the bathroom where he strangled her to death.
