Abu Dhabi: Prosecution orders the arrest of a man for mocking an ADNOC petrol station employee

Abu Dhabi public prosecution ordered the arrest pf a man who mocked an ADNOC petrol station attendant by recording him on video while paying him in coins and published the video which went viral on social networks, which is considered criminal behavior according to the law.

The decision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to arrest the accused after the video went viral on social media, where the man was deliberately mocking the employee through the payment of coins while filming, triggering negative reactions from social media followers.

The Abu Dhabi Prosecution expressed its rejection of such unlawful acts, stressing that it will confront any violation of values or ethics  in its role of representing society and preserving the rights of all its members.

The Abu Dhabi Public Prosecution also explained that the law in the United Arab Emirates has set clear limits to prevent any behavior that would disrespect others or directly abuse them or treat them inappropriately.
