Sharjah: Asian man found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

The General Command of the Sharjah Police confirmed the death of an Indian man in his thirties, found hanging with a cloth in the ceiling fan of the room where he lives in Al Nahda district of the emirate yesterday evening.

The operation room received a report on the incident. The relevant teams, the crime scene and the national ambulance were transferred to the site. The man was found dead at the scene, the body and the scene were photographed and examined. The prosecutor then ordered the body to be transferred to the forensic laboratory to identify the causes of the death.

The Criminal Investigation team is investigating with the people close to the deceased to identify the reasons behind the incident and the motives that led to his suicide. The file of the incident was also forwarded to the relevant police station for follow-up.
