Ahmed Al Hammadi, Spokesman of the Public Prosecution Office, head of prosecution, confirmed that, according to a report received by the Federal Bureau of Investigation through an application launched by the Federal Public Prosecution a few days ago, two young men (aged 30 and 21) posted a promotional video on social media promoting cocaine drug use, and that the Attorney General of the country, Counselor Dr. Hamad Saif Al-Shamsi ordered taking all necessary measures to arrest them immediately through coordination with concerned teams.
The Ministry of the Interior, represented by the General Command of Ajman Police, carried out the seizure in record time, and the two young men are currently being presented to the competent prosecution.
The Spokesman for the Public Prosecution stated that the Attorney General of the country stressed the importance of combating drug trafficking, abuse, and promotion, in cooperation with the competent authorities in the country, as a matter that affects national security, and that the UAE, with all its powers and agencies, is not negligent to dealing with this dangerous matter. Pointing out that responding to these matters and to the perpetrators is of utmost importance.
