Dubai: Arab man catches two thieves, returns stolen money

A young Arab man, who was leaving Dubai International Airport on his way to his home in Sharjah, was not aware that he was about to save someone after being robbed by a two thieves who stole his bag containing 54,000 dirhams.

Pointing out that while he was in a taxi waiting on one of the traffic signals, he witnessed two people being followed by a person, so he opened the car window to ask the victim of what is happening, where he told him that his bag was stolen by the two men.

The young man asked the taxi driver to drive right behind them, and then he got out of the car, caught them and kept them in the taxi. He then asked them where the money bag was and they answered saying that they threw it behind a tree while escaping. Not only that, but he also took them to this place to find the bag of money and handed it over to the victim.

Police patrols who were then informed of the crime, came to the scene immediately to arrest the thieves and bring them to face their trial at Dubai courts.
