RAK: Emirati toddler dies after drowning in home swimming pool

A 19-month-old Emirati toddler was pronounced dead yesterday after she fell and drowned in the swimming pool of her family’s farm in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah last week.

According to informed sources, the incident occurred during the family’s visit to their farm, when the girl fall into the swimming pool, and was quickly transferred to Saqr Hospital.

“The young victim was clinically dead when she was taken to the hospital,” sources stated. “Her heart was not pulsing, but the medical team in the hospital’s emergency department managed to revive her after several attempts.” Unfortunately, the girl was declared dead early on Tuesday morning.
