Dubai: Asian maid takes advantage of child’s autism and harasses him

The Dubai Criminal Court has charged a 22-year-old Asian maid accused of assaulting an 8-year-old boy who has autism, taking advantage of his lack of awareness and his mother’s absence for work abroad.

The investigation revealed that the mother noticed many changes in the behavior of her son, especially after the accused had been stopped from working with them, after she was completely responsible for the child’s follow-up, feeding and taking care of him.

The mother added that she realized through her child’s strange and shameful behaviors that something was wrong, and that her other maid was always crying privately. When asked why, she admitted that she had seen the accused more than once in inappropriate situations with the child in his room, and that the accused threatened her not to tell anyone what was happening.

The mother added that she took her son to the doctor, especially after the sadness and negative changes in his behavior, while filing a police report against the defendant who was arrested later.
