Highlights of Helsinki summit between US and Russia presidents

After holding their first summit meeting, Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin are holding out the hopes of a new era of cooperation between the two countries, the following are some important statements from the press conference:

Putin: We have not been able to resolve all the controversial issues between Moscow and Washington, and the return of Syrian refugees to their country will ease the pressure on Europe, and we are concerned about Washington’s leaving from the Iranian nuclear agreement.

Putin: an agreement on the formation of a council between American and Russian businessmen, and Russia did not interfere in US internal affairs.

Trump: We demanded pressure on Iran to stop its activities and interventions in the region, and we are about to destroy Daesh in the region.
