RAK: Brave fire fighter extinguishes a fire that broke out at his neighbor’s house

Mustafa Al Balushi, a first assistant in the civil defense in Ras Al Khaimah extinguished a fire in a neighbor’s house in the emirate yesterday.

Informed sources in the administration stated that the operations room received a report from a man stating that a fire broke out in his house. Competent teams in the fire and rescue operations were dispatched quickly with the participation of the national ambulance team. Minutes later, the Department received another call from the same person stating that one of the Civil Defense personnel, who lives near his house, has already extinguished the fire preventing it from extending to other locations.

The fire seemed to be caused by an electric transformer, the fire fighter immediately used the equipment available to him in the house, and bravely managed to control the situations.

The Civil Defense Department applauded the First Assistant’s efforts, and the staff’s passion to perform their work with all love and sincerity in order to protect people’s lives and property.
