Umm Al-Qaiwain: Emiarti loses his life after his vehicle collided with a truck

An Emirati citizen, who was in his thirties, lost his life after his vehicle collided with a truck on Sheikh Zayed Road in Umm Al Quwain.

Colonel Saeed Obeid Bin Aran, Director of Traffic and Patrol Department at the General Command of Umm Al Quwain Police, stated that the operations room received a report at 8:00 PM Thursday evening that a collision between a vehicle and a truck had occurred on Sheikh Zayed Road towards Falaj Al Mualla.

Police, Civil Defense and National Ambulance teams immediately moved to the scene. The man got injured and was taken out of the vehicle to hospital, unfortunately, he died on arrival.

He pointed out that the cause of the accident was the trucks movement stopping on the road towards Emirates Road, which led to the collision of the vehicle with a trucks from the back, urging all drivers to take caution, and pay attention while driving, for the safety of all.
