Al Ain: Arab man with mental disability goes missing from his family’s house

It is not the first time that Mahmoud Al Farsi, a 34-year-old mentally disabled man, has left his father’s home, but this time, he has gone missing for over two weeks. His family posted through all social media regarding the matter, showing information and photographs of their missing family member who left the house August 1st.

His brother stated: “Mahmoud left the house in the morning of August 1st, and he did not return yet, he is used to going out of the house for two or three days, but this is time, it is different.

He added: “Mahmoud has a mental disability, his behavior is not aggressive, and he is not used to talking to others”, the brother also explained that he is of average height, and has a slim to skinny figure. Pointing out that when he left the house, he was wearing striped brown pajamas.

Mahmoud’s brother expressed his appreciation to the efforts of the concerned authorities in Al Ain who took over the search for his brother. He also praised the interaction of the people who came to search for him, after seeing the posts on social media.

He also pointed out that after finding his brother, he would use tracking devices to know his location in case he left the house, to avoid putting him in danger.
