Dubai: Asian driver sentenced to 3 months in jail for harassing a waitress

The Dubai Criminal Court has sentenced an Asian driver to three months in prison on charges of harassing a waitress while she was walking in Al-Quoz industrial area with her friend.

The victim stated that she was walking along the road and saw people in the opposite direction, one of them harassed her inappropriately touching her body. The victim screamed and then started chasing him. She also asked passers-by to help her catch him. An African man happened to pass by, and managed to stop him. The defendant denied the charges against him.
