WATCH: Abu Dhabi police arrests 5 members of drug gangs

Abu Dhabi’s police force has announced the arrest of five Asians for possessing 17.5 kg of drugs an anti-narcotics operations.
Brigadier Mohammad Suhail Al Rashidi, Acting Director of the Criminal Security Sector of the Abu Dhabi Police, said they arrested international drug gang of four suspects who were possessing 12 kg of Heroin and Crystal Meth was hidden in 4 tones of spare parts inside a container in an industrial shop at an emirate in the first operation titled “The Big Challenge”.

“In the second operation, police forces arrested a drug dealer possessing 5.5 kg of Crystal Meth. He was hiding the drugs inside a secret place in a mobile phones shop,” Brigadier Al Rashidi said.
The second operation called “Death phones”.
Brigadier Al Rashidi, stated that Abu Dhabi police keen to fight the crime despite the security challenge as the drug dealers in ‘The Big Challenge’ operation thought it will be hard for police to discover the drugs inside the spare parts’ container. He said that they found another amount in a house and the total was 8 Kg of Heroin and 4 Kg of Crystal Meth.
Meanwhile, Colonel Taher Al Dhaheri, director of Anti-Narcotic Department, said the drug dealer in the second operation was working as a salesman in the mobile shop.
