Woman rescued after attempted suicide in Ajman

A 45-year-old Arab woman who tried to commit suicide in Al Nuaimia area of ​​central Ajman was rescued by Ajman police and civil defense teams, the woman was about to jump from the fourth floor of a residential tower.

Civil defense teams succeeded to go inside her apartment and negotiate with her to calm her down, crowds of people gathered under the building, the woman had reportedly tried to fall more than four times amid everyone’s surprise last Sunday at 6:15 AM

Lt. Col. Ghaith Khalifah Al Kaabi, director of Al Nuaimia Police Station, told Al Bayan local newspaper that a report was sent to the police station last Sunday at 6 AM stating that an Arab woman was trying to commit suicide in a residential building. Civil defense rushed to the site of the incident, and the Attorney General was also contacted to take permission to enter the woman’s apartment and save her life, explaining that the woman is the one who contacted the police operations room and told them the need for ambulance as she was about to commit suicide.
