Abu Dhabi: GCC national faces charges of harboring his brother in law

Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal charged a GCC man with harboring a criminal in the country without informing the authorities, and the charge of gunshots possession. The case was adjourned until November 12.

The defendant explained that he did not know that his wife’s brother had entered the country illegally from one of the border crossings, he also denied knowing that his brother in law was accused of theft in Dubai. According to the defendant, the brother in law came to their house frequently but did not live with them.

The accused also confessed to the possession of gunshots due to the nature of his military work in the past, he kept the gunshots in a bag placed in the store house, and had no idea whether they were working or not, although the forensic laboratory report confirmed after its examination that the gunshots were working.
