Ajman: Asian man gets two years sentence for attempting to kill his colleague

Ajman Criminal Court sentenced a 21-year-old Asian man to two years in prison for trying to murder his colleague from the same nationality. This came after a dispute between them in the company’s workers housing in ​​Al-Jarf area in Ajman. The man was also sentenced to deportation after his term.

Details of the case reveal that the accused attempted to stab the victim with a knife, causing numerous injuries to his arms and chest. He was then stopped by other workers living in the same housing.

The victim stated in the investigations of the Public Prosecution that there was a dispute between him and the accused in the housing, he then went to his room and was surprised by the accused knocking his door in the middle of the night.

The victim opened the door and was surprised by several stabs in his arms and chest by the drunk defendant.

The accused admitted that he had attempted to kill his colleague and admitted that he was drunk and did not remember why he had a knife. Eyewitnesses confirmed what happened and contacted the police and national ambulance.
