UAE President sends cables of thanks to Lebanese President, PM

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has sent two cables to Lebanese President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Saad Al Hariri, thanking them for naming a main street, a roundabout and a memorial in Beirut, after the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

In his cables, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed appreciation for this gesture which reflects the spirit of fraternity and the special ties between the leaderships, governments and peoples of the two countries.

“This fraternal move by the Municipality and Province of Beirut, is an expression of amity between the brotherly peoples of the UAE and Lebanon,” he said.
