Dubai: Man hacks into company’s websites after salary cut

A 33-year-old Asian man did not find a way to take revenge against his company, which has cut down AED 4,000 from his salary, but to hack 15 websites belonging his company’s customers and disabling them.

The owner of the company filed a complaint with Dubai Public Prosecution against the accused who used to work for him as a computer programmer, he was also responsible for the websites supervision in the company. The accused had previously sent an email excusing himself from further working as a programmer.

The defendant stated: “After informing him that he would incur our business Dh12,000 in losses, we agreed to deduct Dh2,000 per month from his salary. He accepted and worked for two months before he resigned,”
