Dubai Police arrest man over snooping on vehicles

The Dubai Police have arrested an Asian national who have been spotted snooping on vehicles in Jumeriah area in recent viral videos on social media platforms.

Colonel Faisal AlQasim, Director of Security Media at Dubai Police, said the suspect, who’s now in Dubai Police’s custody for further investigations, had been working for a construction company and the company had already filed a report against him.

The director of Dubai Police Security Media called on members of the public to refrain from circulating any materials that harm the sense of safety and security of our society and raise unnecessary fears among residents, adding that such actions are prohibited by local laws.
Col AlQasim urged members of the public to report any suspicious activities to Dubai Police directly by calling 999 for emergencies or 901 for non emergency situations.
