MOI app features new ‘Community Awareness’ service

The UAE Ministry of Interior has announced the launch of its ‘Community Awareness’ service via its phone application ‘MOIUAE’. The service provides users with information and programmes designed by the ministry’s Law Culture Respect Bureau, in cooperation with various ministry departments.

Commenting on the service launch, Colonel Abdullah Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of the Bureau said that the ministry continues its efforts to distribute critical information to the UAE community. He explained that the latest app facility provides information services surrounding the protection of children, human rights, culture and the UAE police, to ensure the security and stability of the country and its society. The service also includes details on the duties of employers and employees, people of determination, bullying, human trafficking, and residential neighbourhood security, among others.

To reach a wider UAE community, Al Shamsi noted, the Community Awareness service was launched in six languages – English, Arabic, Chinese, Filipino, Urdu and Malay.
