The Court of Cassation in Abu Dhabi has upheld a fine of 20,000 dirhams with deportation issued by Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal against a female who was convicted of posting videos in semi-naked clothes and communicating with men for inappropriate purposes.
Details of the case reveal that the Public Prosecution has charged the accused with posting clips that violate public morality by placing shameless videos of her through the social networking sites and communicating with male strangers to exchange conversations with the purpose of incitement to commit vice.
The Court of First Instance had sentenced her to six months in prison, deportation from the country. The court appealed the sentence and ordered the appeal to be amended by a fine of 20,000 dirhams.
