Hussain Al Jasmi named ERC Goodwill Extraordinary Ambassador

In the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent, the ERC bestowed the Goodwill Extraordinary Ambassador title on Emirati artist Hussain Al Jasmi, in recognition of his strong support to its humanitarian and development activities and programmes.

This was announced during a ceremony held on Wednesday to open the ERC’s new headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

During the ceremony, a film was shown about Al Jasmi’s contributions to the humanitarian works in many Arab and foreign countries.

Al Jasmi thanked Sheikh Hamdan for this honour and pledged to continue his humanitarian endeavours in the future.

“The paths of hope are open and humanity drives us to serve the people everywhere. Thank you ERC for this confidence and for giving hope for a better life,” he said.
