International Astronomical Center: Eid Al Adha will fall on August 11

Most Islamic countries are looking for a crescent sighting of Dhu al-Hijjah on the evening of Thursday, Aug 1. As a crescent sighting is possible on this day from most parts of the Islamic world. It will be expected that the first day of Dhul Hijja month will fall on Friday, August 2, standing on Mount Arafat will be on Saturday, August 10 and the first day of Eid Al Adha will be on Sunday, August 11.
