UAE urged Qatar to end hate speech programs

Geneva: The United Arab Emirates urged Qatar to put an end to hate speech programs in the national media. UAE reiterated that this is a threat to the security of all the countries of the region, including Qatar.

The statements were made at the 42nd regular session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC). This UNHRC regular session started on September 9 and will go on until September 27 in Geneva.

During the session, the Council planned to examine over 90 reports on a wide range of issues presented by 25 human rights experts, groups, and mechanisms.
