NCM issued a warning of Tropical storm likely in the Arabian Sea

The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) on Sunday warned of a tropical depression that was tracked in the northeast of the Arabian Sea, close to the Indian coast.

“It is moving at a speed of 15kmph with an estimated wind speed of 45-55kmph around the centre, and accompanied by intense rain-bearing clouds.

The NCM wanted that the tropical depression could turn into a tropical storm in 48 hours, with a wind speed of 64-75kmph.

It won’t have a direct effect on the UAE, the centre added.
