A man and his second wife sentenced to death for murdering the first wife

The Sharjah Criminal Court sentenced an Asian couple to death after they were found guilty of murdering the defendant’s first wife. The husband in cooperation with his new wife stabbed her to death and buried her body inside the house in Maysaloon area, then offered the house for rent and ran away.

The verdict, which was issued in absentia, after the family of the victim refused blood money over the incident.

The details of the case is that the victim’s absence was reported to police in the precedent month of april 2018 and another report from one of the neighbors of the victim’s house stated that there was an unpleasant smell in the house where the incident took place.

A police team went to the house and during investigations it was found that the floor was uneven in some parts. Police hounds detected the deceased body underneath the house.

The husband was married to two wives and lived in traditional house in Maysaloon area with the victim and two children. Investigations and witnesses testimony in the prosecution and court showed that his second wife cooperated with him in the crime and they had concealed the body
