Two Asians on trial for stealing mobile phone

Dubai Public prosecution referred two Asian men to the Criminal Court after being charged of robbery on the public road, carrying a white weapon and threatening to kill after they stole a mobile phone from another Asian person by deceiving him.

In detail, the operations room has received a report about a theft that took place in Jebel Ali Industrial Area. The victim said while he was sitting with his friends, the defendants came to him and discussed several issues, one of the defendants asked for the victim’s mobile phone to make a phone call. The first defendant gave the phone to the second defendant who took it and ran away.

The victim and his friends chased the defendants but the second defendant stopped and took out a knife and threatened to kill them, then they chased and caught the first defendant and called the police who arrested both.
