Two drug dealers sentenced to life imprisonment each followed by deportation

The Federal Supreme Court has rejected two defendants plaint who were sentenced to life imprisonment followed by deportation charged for trading drugs with availability of crime evidence.

The General Directorate of Narcotics Control received information from a secret source that a person, communicated with Asians who possess narcotic substances, was in the process of delivering five kilograms of heroin worth AED 200,000 to a secret source.

After investigation, the defendants were arrested red-handed.

The Public Prosecution referred the defendants to trial, on charges of possession of heroin for trading and the Court of Appeal upheld the ruling of the Court of First Instance that sentenced each of them to life imprisonment followed by deportation. In addition to two years imprisonment for one of the defendants for the charge of drug abuse.
