Dubai Criminal Court looked into the case of two Asian brothers (49 & 42 years old) accused of the premeditated murder of their nephew. They suspected that he has an illegitimate affair with his uncle’s wife at their homeland so they prepared a plan to murder him.
In detail, Dubai Criminal Court began the trial of two Asian brothers, one of them a 42-year-old visitor and the other a 49-year-old fugitive for the murder of their nephew. They invited him to dinner at the residence of the second defendant, and then the first defendant asked the victim to drop them home by his car. On their way they directed him to take a brief road which lead to a dark sandy yard in Jebal Ali area, then one of them tightened his grip while the other asked him if he has an affair with his wife and the victim admitted, so he hit him twice with a hammer and strangled him with a rope. After they ensured that he was dead they put him in a bag and buried him.
The witness stated that the defendants persuaded the victim that they had found him a job to bring him easily to UAE and then they prepared a plan and the crime tools (a hammer, a rope, a bag to maintain the body, and a shovel).
Dubai Public Prosecution convicted one defendant in attendance and the other in absentia for committing premeditated murder and kidnapping.
