Mohammed Bin Rashid and Mohammed Bin Zayed announce UAE’s theme for 2020
Mohamed Bin Rashid:
• Today we announce the next year as “the year of preparation for the next fifty years” .. We want to develop.. our plans … our projects .. our thoughts .. fifty years ago the team of the founding fathers designed our lives today .. and we want next year to design the next fifty years for the new generations.
• In 2020 we want to prepare to launch leaps in the economy..in education..in the infrastructure..in the health..in the media..in telling the world the story of the UAE..in 2020 we want to build the UAE of the future as a team..in the spirit of the union… In the spirit of Zayed, in the spirit of adoring the peaks, in the spirit of adoring construction, our battle is an ongoing construction battle, and it will remain.
• In the year of preparation for the next fifty years we want to work together in all sectors.. citizens and residents..because when we are united we can change the equations..we can raise expectations..spirit of 2020 before our golden jubilee in 2021 .. we want it as the spirit of 1970 when the founding fathers and the team were preparing to start a new phase and life for this country.
Mohammed Bin Zayed:
2020 would be the “turning point” in the country’s history. “In the next fifty years, we will prepare all sectors of the country for the post-oil phase. We will build a true knowledge economy based on innovation and creativity.”
