Ras Al Khaimah Criminal Court sentenced a European defendant to six months in prison and a penalty of AED 500,000 on the charges of insulting an Arab man, and a penalty of AED 10,000 for drinking alcohol followed by deportation.
The case file revealed many charges against the defendant, including assaulting the victim, using force against police officers while performing their duties, verbally assaulting them during his arrest, damaging the police vehicle, and drinking alcohol.
In detail, Ras Al Khaimah Police received a report from the Arab victim who was assaulted by the accused after an argument between them over one of the swimming pools.
The defendant assaulted the victim and the employees in the swimming pool so they called the police, and it was revealed during the investigations that the defendant was intoxicated before the incident.
