At yesterday’s hearing, Abu Dhabi Criminal Court looked into the case of an Arab man who was accused of assaulting a policeman and the possession of narcotic substances. The court decided to postpone the verdict for the coming Tuesday hearing, December 31.
In detail, the Public Prosecution charged the defendant of assaulting a policeman during the performance of his duty, resistance and the use of force when arrested, the illegal possession and abuse of narcotic substances “amphetamine” and “methamphetamine” in an authorized state, damaging a vehicle due to his sudden maneuvering, and transferring a number plate from one vehicle to another without the approval of the licensing authority.
The defendant denied the charges against him before the court.
