A new resolution for Abu Dhabi government employees

The Executive Council has issued a resolution on a new salary scale, including grades and allowances for AbuDhabi government employees, along with a resolution to transfer employees to the new scale.

The new salary scale aims to increase retirement pensions, ensure parity cross government entities and improve performance. Employees’ gross salaries will not be affected. New motivating incentives will be introduced to attract and reward outstanding talent.

Retirement pensions of government employees will increase significantly, with payments to be calculated on almost 80% of gross salary. This reflects the leadership’s wishes to enhance quality of life for Emirati people. All incremental costs will be met by the government.
