According to the NCM, light rains were reported over Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain early in the morning.
(RTA) have urged motorists to drive safely during the rainy conditions and also instructed to maintain a safe following distance and avoid applying brakes suddenly, to prevent the risk of skidding when roads are slippery.
The NCM had also warned sea-goers in Arabian Gulf against potential convective clouds formations associated with rainfall.
