The RAK Ruler directs to pay compensation to those affected by the rain that the emirate had witnessed recently which caused damage to a number of houses in scattered areas of Ras Al Khaimah.
This decision reflects the continuous efforts of the leaders to provide various means of support to the residents of the emirate and help them to face emergency situations in a way that guarantees them and their families a stable life.
In implementation of the directives of His Highness, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, head of the Emergencies, Crisis, and Disaster Management Team in the Emirate, announced that a committee has been formed consists of directors of all departments and the concerned local bodies in the Emirate in order to identify and assess the damages caused by rains.
Al-Nuaimi added that the committee had already made field trips throughout the emirate, met with families whose houses and properties were damaged, evaluate the damages, and will submit the report directly to His Highness the to pay compensation to the eligibles.
