Three Asian men on trial for assault and stealing AED 900

Abu Dhabi criminal court postponed the trial of an Asian man and two other Asian fugitives to find a lawyer to defend them. The three defendants were charged of beating a man, and stealing AED 900 from him.

The Public Prosecution convicted the defendants of theft, where they had stopped the victim, gathered and beat him, then took him to a far place, and stole his wallet which contained AED 900. After the incident one of them was arrested and the other two fled.
