MOE announces the launch of “My Optimum Time” initiative

The “Ministry of Education” announces the launch of “My Optimum Time” initiative, which focuses on eliminating homework and implementing a set of strategies to ensure the optimal investment of student time during the school day.

The implementation of the initiative will not change the dates of the school day, and will remain as usual, whether time in or time out. 

The initiative includes merging two continuous sessions without a break, for a period of up to 90 minutes in Arabic, English, mathematics, science, design and technology subjects. 

The initiative will be implemented as of February 16 in 256 government schools, including 23 schools in Dubai and 233 schools in Abu Dhabi.
