Fines will be imposed on non-complying shopping malls

The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi sets fines for malls failing to comply with health and safety instructions.

A fine of AED 3000 will be imposed for the first violation, AED 6000 for the second, AED 8,000 for the third violation, and AED 10,000 if violation was committed for the fourth time. The shopping mall will be closed following any further violation.
