“COSMO” products in Dubai markets are safe

Dr. Naseem Rafie, director of the public health and safety department at Dubai Municipality to “UAE BARQ” : The disinfectatnt product branded “COSMO” which is available at the local market is registered at Montaji system and have been evaluated for its safety and conformity to the municipality standards.Random sampling for safety testing are performed periodically.

Dr. “Rafie” has stated that they are coordinating with the relevant company in the UAE to verify the circular issued by the authorities in the KSA, and to confirm the source of the samples that have been referred to.

This statement clarifies the warning issued by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority concerning “COSMO Hand Sanitizer Spray” for containing less than the permissible limit of ethanol and isopropanol.
