ADP: 1252 violations for organizing social gatherings and events

Abu Dhabi Police have recorded 1252 violations for flouting the attorney general decision concerning the prohibition of social gatherings, events and celebrations in public places as part of precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. A fine of AED 10,000 was imposed on the event hosts and organizers, while each guest and participant was slapped a fine of AED 5,000.

Abu Dhabi police called on the public to feel free to report any gatherings or violations of the instructions issued by the official authorities and to quickly communicate with (Aman Service) on the toll-free number 8002626, text messages 2828 or e-mail Aman@adpolice.gov.ae, in order to maintain the safety of all members of society.
