UAE Government holds news briefing on the country’s health status within the past 7 days

The UAE Government today held news briefing to present the health situation in the country.

During the briefing, Dr. Omar Al Hammadi, Official Spokesperson of the UAE Government, revealed statistics and data monitored by relevant authorities to analyse the health situation in the UAE between 20 and 27 October:

• A 1% increase on the rate of tests conducted compared to the sama e period last week, which revealed 12% increase in confirmed cases.

• 18% increase in the rate of recovery

• The total number of deaths during this week was 12 cases, that is 45% lesser than last week, bringing the mortality rate to 0.4%, which is one of the least worldwide.

• During this period, 778,936 were conducted nationwide.
